Hotel Bed Bug Alert in Cherry Hill

Other than the hotel . . . who is best to complain to when finding bugs in hotel room? The Crown Plaza in Cherry Hill, NJ is part of Holiday Inn. I found bugs in my room and gathered some samples to show to hotel management before checkout. HI Guest Services told me: "we've given you 10,000 points and closed the case". I was unable to even get a copy of the "bug report" that they said they have. (I stayed 2 nights in January 2012 at this hotel for cash.) If I stayed for points, it would cost me 25,000 points per nite at this hotel.

We suggest commenting on the hotel on Trip Advisor. This site is monitored daily by the hotel. It will get the attention of Holiday Inn management and anyone considering a stay at the hotel.

We suggest that before staying in any hotel, check the mattress for any small fecal stains. If the mattress isn't 100% clean, do not stay in the room and alert hotel management. When checking in to any hotel, ask if the room you are staying in has ever been treated for bed bugs or if there has been any recent infestations. It is a fair question to ask.
